Nick is a strange bird that likes to fly and dance. Kinda like an osprey with the legs of an old Italian man. As an adaptable, color-shifting, curious artist, he is inspired by nature, the universe, music and entire color and pattern spectrums. He is endlessly inspired by the many people he meets. Nick has explored many art forms and distinct mediums, from being classically trained as a painter, photographer, sculptor, and educator, to being involved with event production, museum, and gallery installations. Nick enjoys a good party. Since 2010, Nick has meshed these experiences into creating tattoos with some rad people. Nick believes it is equally as important to receive a good tattoo as it is to create a fun and welcoming environment, where both client and artist can excel together! In the future these environments could be on the tops of mountains, at music festivals, and in other select locations.
I have worked with some great artists, and have traveled to some wonderful conventions over the years. I am increasingly interested in the ancient theories and archaeological finds that further explore the narrative of tattooing as an important part of holistic healing, and identity creation for cultures around the world. I look forward to exploring some of these sites in person someday. Tattoo history is much older than your great grandpa’s badass pinup tattoo! When we take a bit of ancient history, blend it with a dash of new science, and spread it over a layer of collaborative magic, we can create truly unique and individualized tattoos and experiences.
Let’s get nerdy and keep it a little weird. I hope you’ll find your experience at The Factory Tattoo comfortable, memorable, colorful, and impactful. I’m thankful everyday that I get to work with such cool people from all over the world.
